Münchner Malz ist ein Basismalz, das vor allem für die Herstellung dunkler und malzbetonter Biere verwendet wird. Es wird aus Braugerste hergestellt und weist je nach Ausprägung Farbstärken von etwa 15 bis 70 EBC auf. Charakteristisch sind seine intensiven, brotigen und leicht röstigen Malzaromen, die dem Bier mehr Tiefe, Farbe und Körper verleihen. Münchner Malz wird häufig in verschiedenen Bierstilen eingesetzt, um ein kräftiges, vollmundiges Geschmacksprofil zu erzeugen und die malzige Ausprägung zu betonen.
